The design department
Afak has its own design department. Here they started working with Autocad and Autodesk Inventor as one of the first companies in The Netherlands. In these two decades we have customized countless machines to customer specification. Using CAD drawings as an international language, we can succesfully implement couple our designs with our colleagues. This way we can make accurate agreements with differen suppliers for a punctual planning.
Since 2013 the design department has its own place on the second flour of our office with the newest CAD technology. Many of our draftsmen have been with us for many years and if requested can visit on location for advice or taking measurements
Engineering
Engineering Afak employs about 35 constructors full-time. Our constructors are all VCA-certified (safety protocol) and often have over a decade of experience in steel construction.
These constructors work in our 3000 square meter factory in Katwijk, The Netherlands. Here we have a broad selection of machines. Here you can find more about our machinery and our expertise.
