Afak Techniek is specialized in fish processing equipment and logistic transport for pelagic trawlers and fish processing factories.
We start with the engineering process as a basic for all our projects. Due to customer demands and our experience we are able to design a perfect balance between input and output.
Step by step we generate the factory lay out in the general arrangement, in this process we take in consideration ship/building design as well. In this way, our philosophy is to look over our scope of supply and give the customer a fair and complete advice about the project during this engineering phase. Our demand is to cooperate together with the customer to stay in control during this whole process from designing, manufacturing, planning and installation to test trials and production run.
Our team
As of 2019 Afak employs over 40 FTE's. This team consisting of constructors, electriciens, draftsmen and administrative workers all operate from one location in Katwijk, The Netherlands.
